OUR HISTORY
Established in 2001 as Expert Installations Company, we focused on commercial flooring installation and completed numerous large flooring projects for major hotel chains, the D.C. metro system, office buildings and more. In 2012, we began serving residential homeowners and changed our company name to Flooring Direct Inc. The word "direct" comes from the fact that our clients purchase materials through us at discounted factory pricing saving thousands of dollars in the process. In 2013, this concept of buying direct was so popular that we decided to extend it to kitchen, bathrooms as well as for general home renovation, changing our name again to Floors Kitchen & Bath Direct (FKBD). As of today, our company not only serves residential homeowners, but also customers in need of remodeling their homes to prepare for sale so they can remodel at the best possible price and obtain the highest market value when selling their homes.
